Huntington Art Walk

We’ll have a special weekend showcase for this year’s Art Walk featuring the works of Jeanne Menoutis’ “Gods Among Us” series.

“Gods Among Us” is a new series dedicated to the rock legends that artist Menoutis says helped shape her as a person and get her through years of teenage angst and beyond.

“Since the age of 5, when my dad bought me my first Beatles and Monkees albums, I’ve been obsessed with music. To this day, that obsession continues to grow. This series is a tribute to 12 special artists, dear to my heart.”

‘Warrior Women’ is an ongoing sculpture collection of strong women, past and present,  who have forged their way through social barriers and prejudices in order to make their mark on this world. Jeanne’s work honors their legacies and keeps their stories alive and present.

'Color Commotion' opening reception

Join us in the opening reception for ‘Color Commotion’ featuring the paintings of Lisa Stanko.

Reception will be from 3-5 pm. Light refreshments provided.

Free and open to the public, all ages welcome!

Lisa began painting at the age of ten and continued her art education through High School. As an Art Major in college, she gained inspiration from a diverse combination of classes and informative professors. Learning to look at things differently gave her the freedom to experiment and develop her own style. From college, Lisa went on to earn an Associate Degree in Advertising Design from the Colorado Institute of Art. She then worked at an Ad Agency as a layout Artist and Art Director. After raising a family she worked as a Retail Manager for 15 years before retiring. In 2022 Lisa began painting again. She has been fortunate enough to have participated in countless group exhibitions on Long Island and California including the Biennial at The Heckscher Museum of Art. Solo Shows at Daniel Gale Southebyʼs In Northport, The Copiague Memorial Library, Jack Jackʼs Coffee House in Babylon and The Calling Bell in Huntington. In July of 2026, Lisa displayed her paintings in a two-person exhibition with a sculptor at The BAFFA Art Gallery in Sayville, where she sold 4 paintings. After receiving several awards, opportunities and support from the art community, she hopes to continue to thrive and grow. Painting has brought fulfillment to Lisaʼs life and the journey has just begun.

We’ll be talking about the origins of Drawing Quest, the unique turns of an international collaborative projects, learning to let go when it comes to creativity, and what comes next, as well as showcase the never before seen work that inspired the Drawing Quest workshop.

Raising Heck Opening Reception

Raising Heck Opening Reception

The opening reception for ‘Raising Heck’ will be more than an art show — it will include community conversation, shared resources for families, and space to connect with other parents, caregivers, and artists navigating these times together.

Caregiver is intentionally defined broadly — this includes parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, guardians, teachers, mentors, and anyone who plays a meaningful role in raising a child.

This exhibition will feature paired artwork displayed together — one piece created by the caregiver/artist and one piece created by a child in their life responding to the prompt “Hope.” The intention is to create a visual conversation between generations, highlighting the contrast and connection between what caregivers carry and why they choose to shoulder it.

Both works will be exhibited side by side as part of the installation.

As always our receptions are free and open to the public, all ages welcome!
