Jacqueline Ferrante is a visual artist based in New York and Italy. Her paintings are site-specific imprints of lived, overlooked, and forgotten surfaces. She works with locally sourced raw pigments to make a connection between a surface and its surroundings, bringing awareness to the ever-increasing change of our urban and natural environments. Her work explores a physical connection to place and the passage of time.
Ferrante was raised in Long Island, NY, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Art and Theater from Northeastern University. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. She has completed residencies in New York, Ireland, and Italy.
